 WHAT'S THE ROLE?
As a Solutions Engineer within our Enterprise Sales organization, your role is critical in building trust with our largest customers and prospects by demonstrating the value of our solutions. You will be instrumental in driving business value and ensuring customer obsession by deeply understanding their needs and showcasing how ThoughtSpot's innovative Agentic Analytics Platform can directly address their strategic business goals. This role demands intensity in execution, as you'll be laser-focused on delivering impactful presentations and POCs. If you have a proven track record of successfully selling technical solutions in the enterprise market, particularly within AI/Agentic Solutions, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing and/or Analytics, and are driven by innovation, we want to hear from you!
 WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with Account Executives to develop and execute winning account strategies.
  • Insightful Discovery: Conduct thorough discovery sessions to understand customers' critical analytical priorities, challenges, and desired business outcomes.
  • Compelling Value Articulation: Confidently present and articulate the unique business value and technical capabilities of the ThoughtSpot platform to diverse audiences, from technical teams to executive leadership.
  • Differentiated Demonstrations: Deliver engaging and tailored product demonstrations that clearly highlight ThoughtSpot's competitive advantages and resonate with specific customer use cases.
  • Data-Driven Evaluations: Lead and manage successful Proof of Concepts (POCs), guiding customers in analyzing their own data to showcase tangible results and ROI.
  • Knowledge Sharing & Collaboration: Proactively learn and share best practices, product updates, and competitive insights with the broader team.
  • Efficient Engagement Management: Effectively manage multiple customer engagements concurrently, ensuring timely communication and progress.
  • Customer-Centric Feedback: Capture, prioritize, and communicate valuable customer requirements and feedback to our Product Management team, influencing future product development.
  • Trusted Advisor Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with customer champions and ThoughtSpot Account Executives, aligning all activities to achieve mutual success.

WHAT YOU BRING:
  • Proven success (3+ years) as a Solutions Engineer or similar customer-facing technical role within a sales organization.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling principles, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
  • Working proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery or similar.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, MicroStrategy).
  • Exceptional ability to quickly grasp customer needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cloud computing concepts and the ability to articulate their benefits.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ambitious, intellectually curious, and highly self-motivated with a genuine passion for sales and technology.
  • A growth mindset with a strong desire for continuous learning and professional development.
  • Strong initiative, a positive attitude, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
