We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cybersecurity Engineer with a focus on data security to join our team. This role will involve designing, implementing, and managing data security solutions to protect the company's data, systems, and networks. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, with a particular emphasis on data protection and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage data security solutions, including but not limited to Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Database Security, and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM).
• Ensure the security of data used in AI applications, implementing robust protection measures.
• Collaborate with Enterprise IT to integrate security systems effectively and monitor for threats and vulnerabilities across the organization.
• Develop, maintain, and report on key risk indicators (KRIs) and metrics to track the health and effectiveness of data security operations.
• Support cross-functional stakeholders, including Program teams, Product Leaders, and Senior Technology Leaders, to align data security strategies with business objectives.
• Proactively monitor and manage the health and wellness of data security solutions, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related technical field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• 3-6 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity engineering, with a focus on data security.
• Solid knowledge of conceptual and technical knowledge and procedures within own job discipline and a basic understanding of these elements in related technical disciplines.
• Proficient with current technologies and able to apply advanced technical principles and methodologies to solve challenges and develop solutions.
• Familiarity with Cloud IaaS/PaaS environments, with a preference for experience with Azure.
• Experience in securing data for AI applications is a plus.
• Strong understanding and experience supporting teams with responsibilities across multiple cybersecurity domains within a cyber engineering department.
