What you'll do:

As a IT Engineer III you'll demonstrate proficiency with particular tools and products responsible for supporting the organization's IT infrastructure, data or applications. You'll support senior engineers in the development and support activities as well as project tasks as directed and capable of working independently with minimal direction. As a IT Engineer III, you'll contribute in team dialogue and activities in a collaborative environment.

This position is ONSITE only (4 days per week with 1 remote day) and you must be located in or near Dallas/Irving, TX.

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, and software.
• Implement and configure new technologies to improve IT operations.
• Monitor system performance and ensure the security and integrity of IT systems.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations and procedures.
• Create, enhance, and support solutions in a bespoke Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence application ecosystem
• Collaborate directly with Business, IT teams, and Vendors to develop solution requirements
• Embrace and follow detailed Change Management and SDLC standards and protocols, and contribute to their improvement
• Produce and maintain related documentation, respond to audit and compliance requests
• Develop technical and Business subject matter expertise, and provide support to peers and stakeholders
• On a project basis, lead a small development team, execute the delivery plan, and ensure quality of output
• Contribute to general IT projects and initiatives as required

What you'll need:

• 3+ years professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Software Development, or similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent professional certifications and experience.
• Experience with or an interest in Mortgage, Banking, and Financial Services fields is a plus.
• Experience with Risk Management controls and Regulatory & Legal Compliance frameworks is a plus.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with SQL (Transact-SQL) application development.
• Core to intermediate proficiency with C#/.NET application development, OOP
• Core to intermediate Test Design, Technical Documentation, and Project Management skills and experience.
• Proficiency with Change Management, SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps (ADO), Version Control (Git), etc. tools and best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build new solutions based on existing code, and design new solutions from scratch.
• Ability to understand, clarify, and design Business, Functional, and Technical Requirements.
• Ability to extract and delegate subtasks to other Engineers, and supervise project delivery plans.
• Ability juggle multiple concurrent projects, adapt to change, and complete assigned work in a timely manner.
• Experience with or an interest in DBA (SQL Server), Cloud Technologies (Azure), DevSecOps, AI tools (Copilot), etc. is a plus.
• Proficiency with VBA, CLI (PowerShell, cmd) is a plus.
