What's the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Senior Business Analyst, based in Singapore, to drive
process improvement, data transformation and AI adoption initiatives, and support daily finance operations
within Global Operations (GOPS).
The ideal candidate is highly energetic, detailed and hands on. This position requires a solution-oriented
candidate with a combination of business acumen, knowledge of financial best practices, and an analytical
mindset. The candidate must have the ability to draw key findings from a large data set and provide data
driven solutions that are organized and simple to understand. The candidate must have the ability to work
well with diverse stakeholder groups across the globe to solve business problems; good communication
skills are a must.


This is an individual contributor role and reports into Director, Business Control. He/she expects to work
very closely with GOPS Finance Business Partners and various other stakeholders in GOPS organization,
Finance Shared Service team and other Business Units/Service Units.


Accountabilities include but are not limited to:


  • Act as a backfill for quarterly and yearly standard cost review/update and perform ad-hoc standard cost
    revision and cost roll requests.
    Responsible for the actual cost calculation of systems / products and analysis of the variance between the
    pre and post calculations.
    Responsible for monthly forecast of systems / products and review with Business Unit(s).
    Support month-end activities and prepare journal entries.
    Develop and maintain “expert-level” knowledge around various business processes and operational
    and financial data.
    Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within process areas to drive scale and
    efficiency.
    Drive the adoption of AI tools and technologies to automate routine tasks, enhance financial planning,
    forecasting, and analysis processes.
    Lead, support or manage ad-hoc global finance projects and key workstreams that may arise in line with
    business requirements, as needed from a finance perspective.


What Will Make You Successful?

University graduate and above in Finance, Accounting, Data Science or a related field.
Minimum 5-8 years of costing and analysis experience preferred from manufacturing background.
Familiar with product costing in a manufacturing environment / process.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for leveraging
data to drive business outcomes.
Proven experience of working in a hands-on role and in a changing environment.
Proficiency in financial modeling, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), financial planning tools (e.g.
Anaplan, TM1 and etc) and AI technologies (e.g., machine learning, predictive analytics).
Possess some data programming skills for data extraction like SQL, Python and etc.
Strong influencing skills that deliver collaborative outcomes.
Experience in system implementation / planning tools / process improvement.
Organized and methodical; Possess project management skill.
Excellent knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles.
