How will I help?

As an Analyst in our Information Management and Data Platforms Operations (IMDO) team, you will contribute to continuous improvement of the Data Product Operating Model, ensuring that Data Products are built, governed, and used in a manner that maximises value for the Group. We are seeking candidates with business analysis and data governance capability who are experienced in process improvement and managing multiple stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuously improve and embed the Data Product Operating Model, including governance processes, product ownership, sharing agreements, and controls in line with relevant policies, standards and technology changes.
  • Contribute to the uplift in data governance and data culture across the bank.
  • Coach and support business stakeholders to build greater awareness and value of Data Products.
  • Monitor and report the impact of the Operating Model and compliance with the Data Product Standard.

What do I need to succeed?

  • Highly developed communication and consultative skills to engage stakeholders across the business.
  • Business process improvement skills and experience using customer or stakeholder feedback to optimise existing processes.  
  • Experience in risk management, data governance and/or data product management.
  • Strong problem solving and analysis experience in a similar capacity in a corporate environment requiring high-touch stakeholder management.
  • Ability to develop and maintain policies, procedures and guidance material.
  • Good data literacy, visualisation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to leverage analytics for solving business problems.
  • Communication and management of change impacting a broad set of stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, with ability to time manage multiple concurrent deliverables.  
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
