What you'll do

• Contribute to our data science products with end-to-end data science solutions -- including problem and metric definition, data collection, model building, validation, deployment, and monitoring -- to solve business problems
• Ensure robust and scalable solutions through MLOps practices
• Analyze large datasets (tabular, time series, texts) to extract actionable insights for data-driven decision-making and develop advanced statistical models, in collaboration with central functions (such as finance, HR, marketing, etc.).
• Leverage LLMs with prompting, RAG, and agentic patterns to enhance data science capabilities
• Stay updated with advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI and integrate new techniques and tools into workflows

Who you are

•  Proficient in Python programming language, with extensive experience in data manipulation (e.g., Pandas, PySpark), analysis (e.g., SciPy, scikit-learn), and modeling using machine learning (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch, transformers).
• Experienced with visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Tableau, Superset) and inference endpoint deployment frameworks and libraries (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Langchain).
• Experienced in software development and bringing software into production in collaboration with DevOps and Platform teams (e.g., GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD) using Azure platforms and services for machine learning, data science, and MLOps (e.g., Azure Machine Learning, MLFlow, Azure Synapse).
• Profound knowledge of statistical modeling and data analysis techniques, ideally with a focus on time series analysis, anomaly detection, or text processing.
• Experience working with text data, large language models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic AI techniques. Experience with SAP HANA, SAP SAC, and SAP Datasphere is a plus.
