Job Description

Drive impactful operational outcomes through Advanced Analytics and become a key enabler of data-driven decision-making at LEGO. In this role, you'll support advanced analytics across the Operations and take a leading role within Manufacturing, integrating insights into strategic decisions. Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement advanced analytics models, including predictive modelling, machine learning, and statistical analysis, to enable higher efficiency and productivity.
  • Analyse large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that drive business value using python/coding expertise in Databricks
  • Collaborate with project teams, data analyst, product teams and subject matter experts to identify data science opportunities and provide actionable recommendations based on data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Actively contribute to advanced analytics principles and best practices in collaboration with Data Office and BI Manufacturing and be an inspiration and sparring partner for colleagues.
  • You are a collaborative person by nature and want to be a part of a global cross functional team.
  • Curious and passionate about exploring and evaluating new methodologies and tools to enhance the organization's analytical capabilities

This role will be part of team Industry 4.0 and a new Data Engineering & Analytics team supporting Manufacturing in becoming even more data driven than today.

Industry 4.0 is part of Operation Transformation, which has the purpose of “stimulating” a shared E2E Innovation focus and by that enabling our Operation Aspirations. Operation Transformation functions as a network organization with teams of specialists interacting with relevant departments and functional areas within the LEGO organization as well as with external partners such as suppliers, universities, industry partners, technical institutes.

Do you have what it takes

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
  • Experience in DataBricks
  • Minimum a handful of years experience in data analysis, statistical modelling, and advanced analytics experience in Manufacturing.
  • Experience working as part of an autonomous team, managing personal goals, and contributing to team direction.
  • Expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and an understanding of MLOps practices, including DevOps principles like IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
  • It would be beneficial to have leadership experience as driving change is key part of the role
  • Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Already working in/with established network and forums and by that have easy access to knowledge and sparring.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal

The position is based in Billund, DK and relocation support is not offered for this role.
