Job Description

  • Assist in implementing the technical product vision and strategy ensuring robust risk management capabilities.
  • Act as a mentor or coach to junior team members, providing guidance on tasks as needed.
  • Focus on assigned parts of the product development lifecycle, such as user acceptance testing or documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to refine and document technical requirements focusing on potential fraud scenarios. 
  • Conducts market research to gather data on trends and competitor offerings, leveraging insights to inform product decisions.
  • Stays updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to enhance technical solutions.
  • Contribute to maintaining product roadmaps by providing status updates and feedback.
  • Works closely with UX/UI designers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure cohesive product strategies.
  • Assists in fostering collaboration within the team by facilitating knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support backlog management by helping prioritize tasks within a defined scope.
    Track and report KPIs with predefined methods and metrics focusing on early indicators of fraudulent activity.
  • Learn about industry trends and emerging technologies through directed research; especially on fraud tactics and prevention technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field from a reputable university
  • 3~5 years of experience in product management, preferably in a technical role within fintech companies
  • Has experience in fraud prevention, risk management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective anti-fraud strategies.
  • Familiarity with machine learning models and their application in fraud detection. Knowledge of anti-fraud technologies such as device fingerprinting, liveness detection, and ID verification systems.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL and Python.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
  • Proven track record of successful product launches and iterations
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
