The Boeing Space & Launch Division's Protected Tactical Enterprise Service (PTES) program is looking for Software Platform Deployment Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO.

The PTES program is spearheading the development of a new Global Military Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM) Ground System, designed to manage the transmission of protected tactical waveforms—secure, anti-jam communication—utilizing Boeing-built Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) satellites and terminals.

Position Responsibilities: 
•    Support team with platform deployment across multiple environments meeting diverse standards for repeatability
•    Use a variety of scripting and automation technologies including bash, groovy, python, terraform, ansible, helm, docker to configure development, testing and production environments
•    Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to review performance issues, identify root cause, recommend, and develop a solution
•    Deploy, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, upgrade and maintain a wide variety of CI/CD and Agile Team tooling including JFrog Artifactory, Nexus Repository, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Bitbucket, SonarQube, Confluence, Jira, and similar tools
•    Employ GitOps techniques and tooling (e.g., ArgoCO, Flux, Fleet) to declaratively manage environments
•    Perform Windows and Linux system administration
•    Perform tasks across a wide spectrum of environments include AWS, DoD Private Clouds, and on-premises data centers
•    Works under general direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

•    3+ years of professional platform design and deployment, integration and/or analysis experience 
•    3+ years of experience with Identity Management, certificate services and secrets management in a cloud environment
•    3+ years of experience working with automation tools (e.g., Docker, Terraform, and Ansible) to deploy/configure infrastructure and applications
•    1+ years of experience with planning and implementing DoD PKI for MFA and TLS.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

•    Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
•    Active Top Secret with SCI
•    Experience with logging tools (e.g., Elasticsearch, Splunk), performance analysis (e.g., Kibana, Grafana), and troubleshooting with distributed systems, networks, and microservice architectures.
•    Experience with incorporating DoD STIG and SRG guidance into platform design and deployment.

Summary Pay Range: $104,550 - $141,450
