Job Description & Summary: A career within PWC  

  

Responsibilities:  

  

1. Leadership and Team Management:  

• Leading teams: 
  A Snowflake Manager often leads a team of developers, engineers, or other professionals involved in Snowflake implementation and management.  
   
   
   

• Motivating and developing team members: 
  This includes providing guidance, coaching, and opportunities for growth within the Snowflake ecosystem.  
   
   
   

• Building a high-performing team: 
  This involves attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent, and fostering a positive work environment.  
   
   
   
   
   

 
 

2. Driving Business Results:  

• Achieving revenue targets: In sales-related roles, a Snowflake Manager will focus on driving pipeline generation, closing deals, and exceeding sales goals.  

• Improving customer satisfaction: Ensuring customers are satisfied with Snowflake solutions and are receiving the support they need.  

• Optimizing Snowflake usage: Helping organizations get the most value from their Snowflake investments.  
   

 
 

3. Managing Projects and Snowflake Deployments:  

• Project planning and execution: Managing all aspects of Snowflake implementation projects, from scoping to launch.  
   

• Coordinating with cross-functional teams:Working with other departments, such as engineering, data science, and marketing, to ensure successful Snowflake deployments.  
   

• Monitoring and maintaining Snowflake infrastructure: Ensuring Snowflake is running efficiently and securely.  
   

• Troubleshooting and resolving issues:Addressing any problems that arise with Snowflake.  
   

 
 

4. Technical Skills and Expertise:  

• Understanding Snowflake architecture and features: 
  Having a deep understanding of Snowflake's capabilities and how it integrates with other systems.  
   
   
   
   
   

• Experience with SQL and data warehousing: 
  Being proficient in SQL and understanding the principles of data warehousing.  
   
   
   
   
   

• Knowledge of cloud computing: 
  Having experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.  
   
   
   
   
   

• Understanding of data management principles: 
  Understanding data loading, transformation, and extraction processes, as well as data retention and security.
