If so, Devoteam is looking for a talented and experienced Data Strategist Expert to join our dynamic team in Belgium.

As a Data Strategist Expert at Devoteam, you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients across various industries unlock the full potential of their data assets. You will leverage your deep understanding of data management, analytics, AI, and business strategy to define and implement cutting-edge data strategies that address their most critical challenges and create sustainable competitive advantage.

Your Mission:

• Strategic Vision & Roadmap Development: Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their business objectives, challenges, and data landscape. Translate these insights into comprehensive and actionable data strategies, including vision statements, strategic pillars, and multi-year roadmaps.
• Data Governance & Architecture Guidance: Define and champion best practices in data governance, quality, security, and privacy. Provide expert guidance on data architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with business needs.
• Advanced Analytics & AI Strategy: Identify opportunities to leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to drive innovation, optimize processes, and create new revenue streams. Develop strategic frameworks for the adoption and implementation of these technologies.
• Data Monetization & Value Creation: Explore and define strategies for data monetization, identifying opportunities to create new products, services, or business models based on data assets. Quantify the potential business value of data initiatives.
• Data Literacy & Culture Evangelism: Foster a data-driven culture within client organizations by promoting data literacy, awareness, and the adoption of data-driven decision-making processes.
• Stakeholder Management & Communication: Effectively communicate complex data concepts and strategic recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership. Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and internal teams.
• Thought Leadership & Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in data strategy, analytics, and AI. Contribute to Devoteam's thought leadership through publications, presentations, and internal knowledge sharing.
• Business Development Support: Participate in pre-sales activities, including proposal development and client presentations, to showcase Devoteam's data strategy expertise.

Qualifications

• Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in data strategy, data management, advanced analytics, or a related field, with a demonstrable track record of developing and implementing successful data strategies.
• Deep understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality principles, data security best practices, and relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
• Strong knowledge of modern data architectures, data warehousing concepts, data lake technologies, and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience in identifying and strategizing around the application of advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI techniques to solve business problems.
• Excellent business acumen and the ability to translate business objectives into data-driven strategies and vice versa.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French and/or Dutch is a strong asset.
• A Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, or Business Administration.
