What You Will Do 

As a AI Engineer at Artefact, you will be part of our Technology team, whose mission is to develop web applications that meet the process and data visualization needs of our B2B clients across various industries.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively with our teams of specialists in Data Consulting, Data Analysis, and Data Engineering. Your activities will be fully dedicated to the company, enabling you to work closely with real client challenges and gain deep expertise in web development within the context of data consulting.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Developing web applications using JavaScript: Implement responsive user interfaces and reusable components, following best practices in JavaScript and TypeScript. Experience with React and Next.js is a strong plus.
• Database integration: Design and implement data storage solutions by integrating with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Azure Cosmos DB.
• Managing cloud-based applications: Configure authentication and security systems, host and manage web applications, and integrate them with cloud services such as data pipelines, storage systems, and other offerings from cloud providers like Azure.
• Multidisciplinary collaboration: Work closely with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to integrate algorithms and data visualizations into applications.
• Architecture and optimization: Contribute to defining the applications' architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and security, and optimizing code for maximum efficiency.

What We Are Looking For

• Education; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Web development experience: Proficiency in React, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Database expertise: Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, with the ability to design efficient database schemas and execute complex queries.
• Cloud application skills: Experience setting up security and user authentication systems on cloud platforms; familiarity with hosting and managing web applications in the cloud; ability to integrate applications with cloud services such as data pipelines, authentication systems, and storage.
• DevOps and CI/CD: Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline setup, version control with Git, and experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Advanced or fluent English: Essential for communication with international clients and teams, especially in the U.S.
• Soft skills: A proactive mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
