About the InternshipWe’re looking for a highly curious and independent StatisticalData Analytics Intern to join our team in Amsterdam. You’ll work on real business problems with support from experienced analysts but also be expected to take ownership of your work, bring analytical structure, and think like a statistician. This is not a “build dashboards all day” internship—we’re looking for someone who wants to ask why, build models, and turn data into decisions.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the design and implementation of predictive models
  • Conduct statistical analysis and hypothesis testing on large business datasets
  • Build dashboards and visualizations in tools like Power BI to track KPIs, OKR’s and experiment results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights
  • Identify trends and patterns in data to drive business strategy and performance improvements
  • Clean, explore, and validate complex datasets using Python and SQL
  • Translate findings into clear summaries for internal stakeholders
  • Be encouraged to propose your own analysis ideas or improvements

What We’re Looking For

  • Hold a category B driving license
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or similar (if Non-EU, MUST be registered as a student for the whole duration of the internship)
  • Being able to work full time (40 hours per week)
  • Experience with Python (pandas, seaborn, scikit-learn) and SQL
  • Solid understanding of statistics: hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, significance, etc.
  • Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI (building dashboards and DAX), Qlik, or Tableau
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving mindset
  • Comfortable working independently and learning proactively
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Built or contributed to a predictive model in a previous project or course
  • Experience with natural language processing or image data
  • GitHub, portfolio, or public dashboards you can share

What You’ll Get

  • A 3-month internship in an international environment, with the possibility of extending it up to 1 year
  • Real-world experience solving meaningful business problems
  • High ownership of your work—you’ll be treated like an analyst and part of the team, not a task-taker
  • Mentorship from experienced professionals
  • A flexible and friendly hybrid working environment in Amsterdam
