Want to take the lead as you drive the data architecture in DSV, supporting and steering the implementation and roll-out of DSV’s Enterprise Data Platform, and creating Data Architecture principles and guardrails?

In this role, you’ll drive target data architectures, support global projects, and play a key role in maturing DSV's strategic Enterprise Data Platform — all while collaborating with a dynamic, inclusive, and fun team.

You will be joining our growing Data & Information Architecture team, which is part of our Corporate Development department. Currently, we are 7 experienced architects located at our HQ in Hedehusene and in the United States. 

Our mission and vision are to improve the data quality and align the data landscapes across business divisions in DSV. We are on a digital transformation journey and we need to mature our data platforms, data capabilities, and data architecture guidelines to cater for this ambitious and exciting journey.

From data architecture creation to implementation projects

As our new data architect, you will collaborate with information, business, and solution architects to ensure proper alignment as well as engage with colleagues in Corporate Development to create target data architectures and steer the implementation of our enterprise platforms.

Moreover, your main tasks will be to:

• Support and steer implementation of DSV's Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) from Data Architecture end, creating end-to-end target architecture, detailed data architecture blueprints, detail the functional and non-functional requirements, and be part of the continuous improvement of EDP.
• Support and steer mergers and acquisitions from data architecture end.
• Provide data architecture guidance to colleagues in the divisions and Group - 
• Create and document DSV’s Data Reference Architecture (DRA)
• Assess DSV’s existing data landscape and identify the strengths and weaknesses in the current setup

Structured data talent with a proactive mindset

• You have a BA or MA degree in computer science, information management or similar
• You have 10+ years of experience with enterprise data architecture and designing target architectures as well as designing integrations from a similar position
• Proven track in delivering data platforms, with solid knowledge of data architecture capabilities, including data platforming, data integration, data provisioning and utilisation, and cloud-based data technologies. 
• You have knowledge of data mesh and domain-driven architectures as well as data product design and data architecture domain’s best practices and trends.
• You speak and write English fluently
