Who are we looking for?
As a Program Manager, Data Science and Analytics, you will focus on managing and executing analytics and data science projects, ensuring they align with business goals and timelines. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, translating complex data insights into actionable strategies, and effectively communicating findings to senior leadership. The role is responsible for optimizing workflows, managing stakeholders, tracking project performance, and allocating resources efficiently. Candidates should have experience in program management within analytics or data science; have strong technical skills, business acumen, passion for problem-solving, and an ability to work with any analytics tools and project management software. Contribute to the organizational transformation initiatives, support change management, foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, identify and implement emerging analytics technologies, and develop analytics training and enablement programs.
Responsibilities
How will you contribute?
- Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of analytics and data science projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities and timelines.
- Work closely with marketing, product, information technology, and other business units to define project requirements, manage expectations and stakeholders, and communicate key insights.
- Partner with data scientists and analysts to translate complex data analytics insights into actionable business strategies that will translate into multiple millions of incremental sales or cost savings.
- Quantify and track project outcomes according to corporate success metrics; create and track for performance measurement for project delivery efficiency and cost optimization; evaluate project effectiveness against resource investment and provide enhancement recommendations.
- Effectively convey analytics-driven strategies and insights to senior leadership to support high-level decision-making. Story tell complex ideas with business flair and effectiveness and successfully persuade stakeholders without direct authority.
- Develop and implement best practices for workflow management and automation, ensuring smooth communication, efficient execution, and scalability of analytics initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring transparency, accountability, and alignment with corporate objectives.
- Track key project metrics, assess risks, and implement course corrections, as necessary.
- Manage resources effectively across multiple projects, balancing priorities and talent optimization.
- Able to effectively communicate in a candid, clear, and concise way with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Capable of maintaining solid working relationships with other people. Works well as part of a team

Qualifications
What do you offer?
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in program or project management within analytics, data science, or a related field, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Familiarity with data science concepts, statistical modeling, and analytics tools (SQL, Python, R, Power BI, DataRobot, DataBricks, etc.) is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and its tools Strong understanding of how data science and analytics drive business decisions, particularly in marketing, customer journey, customer acquisition and retention, customer segmentation, risk assessment, and pricing in life insurance.
- Ability to identify challenges, propose solutions, and drive decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project.

Preferred Experience
- Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
- PMP and data governance certification
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry
- Experience with Agile methodologies for project management
