About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking Analytics manger role.


In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop a team of individual contributors in planning, coordinating, and executing data research projects or results oriented intelligence that supports line of business or companywide business objectives
  • Identify and recommend strategies for developing and utilizing technical or analytic resources to enable initiatives that predict, improve, support, and measure business success
  • Interpret and develop strategies that maximize profits or asset growth and minimize credit losses, operating losses and other risk exposures
  • Ensure adherence to data management and data governance regulations, and policies and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and multiple level managers to ensure effective consultation and recommendations based on data analysis
  • Provide leadership to the department in the identification and development of innovative research concepts and designs
  • Work with clients to define issues and information needs and translate them into specific data and technical requirements to support business initiatives and projects
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Languages: Python, ML, AI, PySpark workbooks
  • BI Tools: Alteryx, Oracle BI, SSRS, Tableau, PowerBI
  • OS: MS Windows
  • Financial services experience (Wholesale Banking a plus) and Operations research
  • Understanding Financial products, systems, and platforms
  • Applications: MS Office (Access, Excel, Word), SharePoint


Job Expectations:

  • The role is a business analytics role that sits with DAR Ops Analytics Team to support Operation analytics and will have 4 broad verticals of analytics.
  • Understanding the Present dynamics of loan lifecycle from onboarding to servicing. Develop analytical use cases to drive operational efficiency thru initiatives using Python/PySpark
  • Create detailed reporting architecture to show overall and granular view on present view on Capacity Planning, collateral management, quality error analysis, etc
  • Ability to brainstorm with business to come up with challenges that can be solved thru analytics Improving Customer experience through understanding drivers of experience using complaints management, ML and Text analytics on service comments It is a senior lead role so requires working on complex analytical projects to strategically drive outcomes for Wholesale business and build strong collaboration with entire DAR team
  • This role will be responsible for partnering across the Wholesale Ops Organization teams to understand operational workflow, priorities on capacity plan and hence be able to deliver operational efficiency initiatives.  This role is strategic is nature and will require significant experience in data and analytics- more preferably in Operations research, Forecasting techniques, segmentation, NLP, Gen AI, linear optimization and workflow management.
  • The role will require to use ML, AI algorithms to build optimizations as well as do deep dive, Alteryx migration, Business Object, MS Access migration, etc
  • The roles will also be responsible for Project Management and train junior team members as well develop and define new projects with stake holders, own and take full accountability for delivering the projects and build great experience for stakeholders
