Data Science Intern

What's the role?

As a Data Scientist, you will work with our engineering teams to solve problems using geospatial data. You will use the skills you showed during the hackathon to analyze spatial data, create models, and help build useful geospatial applications.Key tasks:• Analyze geospatial data to find patterns and insights.• Build machine learning models that use location data to make predictions or find clusters.• Create visualizations (maps, charts) to help explain the data.• Use GIS software like QGIS or ArcGIS• Apply statistical methods to geospatial data.• Share results and explain your findings to different teams.

Who are you?

Skills:• Programming skills in Python or R.• Knowledge of geospatial data and GIS software.• Skilled in writing SQL queries.• Knowledge of Graph Databases.• Understanding of AL/ML.• Ability to work in a team and communicate results clearly.

This is a part-time paid internship capped at 19 hours per week with a fixed hourly rate of depending on your level of education as follows: 

Undergraduate Students: $25/hr

Graduate Students: $30/hr

PhD Students: $35/hr
