Skill Set : (Must have) Data Modeling, Snowflake, Oracle, Kafka, Python, Good to have: Java, QlikView The Data Architect will work with a large client / Wealth Management and Investment Management firm. The role is pivotal in supporting the client’s Data Modernization journey, including the transformation of their current Booking System and Data Warehouse / Data Store. The architect will lead the discovery, analysis, and migration efforts, ensuring seamless integration and transformation of data systems while driving the data strategy and governance Core Technical Skills • Data Modeling and Architecture Design: • Expertise in designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models. • Knowledge of data normalization, denormalization, and schema design (e.g. snowflake schema). • Proficiency in metadata management and data governance. • Database Management Systems: • Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server). • Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing data. • Big Data and Distributed Systems: • Familiarity with big data technologies like Kafka. • Understanding of distributed computing and parallel processing frameworks. • Cloud Platforms: • Knowledge of cloud-native data architecture and serverless computing (OpenShift). • Programming and Scripting: • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or Java for data processing. • Familiarity with scripting languages like Shell or PowerShell for automation. • Data Warehousing:
