In this position...
The role requires familiarity with the XR domain. The role has the following components:
- Project managing the the team to deliver PDMs to meet Program requirements
- Help improve the PDM pipeline and tools
- Liaise with multiple stakeholders who want to consume these assets
- Apply a marketing lens to the PDMs to improve the visual appearance of the PDMs
What you'll do…
This role will focus on Ford’s global adoption of newly available 3D Digital Twins for all Ford vehicles, including:
- Manage a team of 8-10 people to support the deployment of the XR Digital Twins and custom Ford 3D visualizing solutions
- Manage contract resources and estimate work effort, timing and requirements to ensure project deliverables
- Work cross-functionally with other Ford Teams and external vendors to align on terms of scope, approach, methods and deliverables.
- Help establish a centralized Ford XR Governance team dedicated to the mass adoption of XR Digital Twins to disrupt and innovate Ford processes.
- Work with clients to help integrate XR Digital Twins into their requested workflow
- Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional departments
- Meet with external partners and leadership
- Create and maintain staffing, succession, and development plans for GSRs
- Define and analyse metrics to report on XR Digital Twin usage and method for quantifying value to Ford
You'll have...
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field/experience
- 5+ Years - Working knowledge of digital buck, Teamcenter, CATIA/CAD, and VisConcept
- 5+ Years - Working knowledge of GPDS Timing/Process
- Demonstrated understanding of 3D rendering, both pre-rendered and real-time
- Demonstrated understanding of 3D interactive application development
- Hands on experience with immersive technology, such as Vive Pro, Varjo, HoloLens, GPU Clusters, Optical Tracking, etc.
- Demonstrated project management skills with experience in writing SOWs, estimating resources and requirements
- Demonstrated leadership skills with engineering fundamentals
- Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated ability to resolve diverse problems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
- Collaboration across the organization at multiple levels

This position is a salary grade 7 - 8.
