Xometry is seeking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Product Data Analyst to join our Product team. In this role, you will work closely with product managers, designers, software and data engineers to deliver insights that drive product decisions. You’ll help shape the future of our products by analyzing site traffic and user behavior to guide feature development with a data-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze product usage data to understand site traffic, user engagement, funnels, and pain points
- Define, track and analyze product metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement
- Design experiments, treatment/control groups, and A/B tests to assess the impact of product changes and new features on key metrics
- Work with Product leadership and UX designers to analyze user journeys and identify areas for improvement in the user experience
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements, translate requirements for engineering to execute, and produce detailed documentation
- Perform product launch QA and testing in partnership with UX design and engineering
- Contribute data-driven insights that identify critical product investments and drive the product roadmap strategy
Requirements:
- 4-5+ years of experience in product, marketing, and/or customer analytics.
- Bachelor’s in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering). Master’s degree preferred
- Knowledge of designing A/B tests, treatment and control cohort definition, and performing basic statistical analysis to understand user behavior and product trends.
- Ability to support analytics projects from definition to execution by clearly clarifying the problem statement, developing success metrics, designing the experiment, and communicating actionable results.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python, with hands-on experience building or maintaining data pipelines, including experience with Snowflake, dbt, Estuary, Airflow, or similar technologies
- Experience working with data visualization tools, specifically Looker
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strategic thinker with demonstrated exposure to product development, site traffic and user engagement metrics.
