We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with ability to pick up some of the data engineering tasks to join our growing team in our London office.
Please note this is a predominantly office-based role in London which will require you to come in and collaborate with the team at least 2-3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with business stakeholders (i.e. Commercial, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Operations etc.) to understand reporting requirements and build Reports using reporting tools such as (Tableau, Quicksight etc.)
- Mapping data with the various sources to understand the data items required and work on sourcing strategy, design, and implementation.
- Identify manual reports and automate them using reporting tools.
- Train business users in reporting tools to enable self-serve reporting capability.
- Implement best practices
- Create new ideas and implement AI solution to improve efficiency and reduce operational cost
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential
- Solid experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of SQL scripting.
- Good understanding of data modelling techniques with the ability to choose the most appropriate data model to meet business needs.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proactive, self-starter with ability to work on own initiative to complete objectives. Working in ambiguous environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an agile environment.
Desirable
- Experience working with AWS ecosystem.
- Data Ops (CI and CD experience).
- Experience in Fintech, Lending or Retail banking.
