The role sits within the Data Operations of the Chief Data Office function and will work closely with internal Data Operations teams and the wider CDO as well as other areas of Fitch Group, Fitch Ratings and Fitch Solutions.

 

Data Operations are responsible for the managing of sourcing and data extraction operations of financial fundamental data for the Banking, Insurance, Corporate and Public Finance sectors, in addition to the collection and management of Entity and Country Risk and Industry Research data. Data Operations is focused on developing an efficient operating environment by bringing consistency and standardization to all operational aspects of the fundamental data collection process.

 

 How You’ll Make an Impact:  

  • Assist with day to day management/ support of Data Operations internal processes eg invoicing , MI reporting, Document governance etc 
  • Provide daily and ad-hoc support to the Data Operations team
  • Assist with Data Operations administrative and support processes to ensure universal compliance and timely execution
  • Assist Senior Data Operations members with special projects, as needed,
  • Work collaboratively with members of Data Ops teams, Finance, Accounts Payable , IT and other business areas to ensure that the correct processes are followed that meet the needs of the users and support compliance with the Company’s overall business and regulatory requirements.
  • Recommend solutions and procedures to streamline/improve current processes and provide highest quality support to Data Operations team.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the current internal procedures,  applications, management reporting etc

 

  You May be a Good Fit if: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (ideal).
  • Lean / Six-sigma certified or willingness to be complete certification within 1st year
  • Self-starter who can work well both independently and as part of a team environment.
  • Relevant experience at a global financial services organization (Ideal).
  • Customer focused with the commitment to providing exceptional client service.
  • Quick learner with excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated, flexible, proactive, and adaptable to change.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
