Do you love to drive strategy through data analytics? Are you passionate about process improvement? Winnebago Motorhome is seeking a Business Data Analyst Lead to join our team. This role can be based in either Eden Prairie, MN or Forest City, IA. We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Business Data Analyst to partner with the VP of Customer Experience in developing and executing a data strategy that drives business insights and operational excellence. This working leader role requires a unique combination of technical expertise, analytical problem-solving, and strategic thinking. The ideal candidate will be proficient in complex data analysis and management, while also serving as a thought leader in shaping the company’s approach to data analytics.

Day to Day of the Role:

Data Strategy & Leadership

•    Collaborate with the VP of Customer Experience to define and implement a data strategy aligned with business objectives.

•    Provide strategic direction on data analytics, reporting, and governance to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and usability of data.

•    Align to enterprise best practices for data management, integration, and visualization across establish standards for customer experience business functions.

•    Evaluate adoption of enterprise technology standards to enhance data analytics capabilities, business decision-making (i.e. utilize AI) and identify emerging trends

Data Analysis & Execution

•    Design, develop, and execute data models, dashboards, and reports that provide actionable insights into service and quality performance.

•    Utilize statistical methods, predictive modeling, and/or machine learning techniques to forecast trends and identify opportunities.

•    Work hands-on with large and complex datasets, ensuring data integrity and consistency.

•    Partner with internal teams, including operations, customer service, quality, product development to support data-driven decision-making. 

•    Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.

•    Communicate results and recommendations effectively through visual storytelling, presentations, and reports.

Data Governance & Quality Assurance

•    Support Enterprise Data Team with data quality controls, governance policies, and compliance standards 

•    Work with Enterprise Data and Security teams to support data accuracy, consistency, and security.


Qualifications & Competencies

•    Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field with relevant experience. 

•    Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools.

•    Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).

•    Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Databricks, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure). Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data insights to business objectives.

•    Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and compelling way.

•    Proven track record of leading data-driven initiatives that improve operational performance.


This posting includes a range of the salary across a geographical market. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $150,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
