What you'll do

  • Answer business questions by applying statistical techniques and/or innovative/quantitative analytical approaches to large data sets.

  • Influence strategic business decisions and operational decisions by conducting customer segmentation & profiling, sales funnel analysis, sales win/loss analysis, voice of customer analysis, etc.

  • Deliver conclusions in support of 'insight-to-Influence' strategic business decisions and operational decisions,

  • Apply technical expertise with quantitative analysis, experimentation, and the presentation of data to develop strategies for our business and help solve the business's biggest challenges

  • Focus on developing hypotheses through analytical approaches, different methodologies, frameworks, and technical approaches to test them.

  • Define, understand, and test opportunities to improve the products and business and influence roadmaps through insights and recommendations.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to inform, influence, and execute strategy decisions

  • Identify and measure the success of product efforts through forecasting and monitoring of key product metrics to understand trends.

  • Communicate insights effectively to drive business outcomes

 

What you bring

  • Minimum of 8+ Years of experience in Data Science or related fields

  • Proficiency in Python, R, Pyspark, SQL data manipulation programming languages

  • Expertise in applying a broad variety of statistical concepts (e.g. classification, regression, A/B tests, clustering, deep learning, probability) to business problems

  • Experience with Databricks or equivalent “big data” platform

  • Experience with deploying machine learning models into production systems

  • Proven ability to advise, present to and serve as a thought partner to senior executives

  • Preferred: M.S., or PhD. in Statistics, AI, Predictive Analytics, Computer Science, Math, Machine Learning, Operations Research, Economics, or another quantitative field

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 142,500 - 327,100 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
