Job Description

The Commercial Analytics Lead is responsible for driving data-driven decision-making across the commercial organization. This role combines analytical expertise with business acumen to provide actionable insights that enhance sales strategies, optimize pricing, and improve overall commercial performance.

Drive Commercial Analytics Transformation at Syngenta by increasing the maturity levels in the local and global commercial organizations - well aligned with the global and local marketing strategies

Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Set the global commercial analytics strategy/direction and establish, measure and optimize commercial KPIs with objective to manage and optimize A&P spending through data driven decision making
  • Design and implement a global commercial analytics transformation program by leveraging the global Digital Marketing Lighthouses Program
  • Drive local commercial analytics transformation and capability building, together with the global CP Marketing organization (GDM, CE, PMs) and local Marketing teams
  • Collaborate with local sales, marketing, and product teams to identify opportunities for growth
  • Create and maintain global analytics insights engines through dashboards, Ai and reports for key commercial metrics, together with IT/Digital and other Analytics teams

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Marketing or related field; Master's preferred
  • 8+ years in analytics, data strategy and management
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, R, Python)
  • Experience in upskilling teams in commercial analytics
  • Fluency in English
  • Good understanding and knowledge of how to plan and execute commercial analytics programs
  • Strong knowledge of marketing in general
  • Solid knowledge of agile methodologies
  • Analytical mind-set and knowledge working with systems and tools for problem solving
  • Understanding of digital customer behavior (B2B and B2C)
  • Experience with BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to communicate complex data to non-technical audiences
  • Multi-project management skills
  • Team player in cross-functional environments
  • Influencing skills and results-driven
  • Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented approach
