R&D Data Scientist Intern

We are seeking a Data Scientist with a strong background in chemistry or biological sciences to support our R&D team’s artificial intelligence platform development. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming complex microbiological data into a standardized digital format, and building dashboards to interact with the data, with suitability for artificial intelligence platform usage.

Key Responsibilities

· Collaborate with R&D scientists to understand current data generation and storage practices

· Build data input documents across multiple testing methodologies to enable easy upload and visualization in ELN/LIMS tools

· Build workflows to aggregate historical data from diverse sources

Qualifications

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, or a related field

· Proven experience in data science, including data processing and analysis

· Understanding of the interface of data, software, and laboratory experiments

· Ability to handle and preprocess large datasets

· Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques

· Familiarity with data structuring for AI evaluation and development

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

· Experience working in a laboratory setting

· Knowledge of microbiological data and research methodologies
