AI Application Engineer for a Sustainability SaaS

We are looking for an AI  Application Engineer to join our team in Helsinki. 

Your responsibility is to analyse and create AI-based, scalable solutions to enhance our SaaS platform. You work closely with the Product Managers and software developers, particularly with developers in this area. 

As an AI Application Engineer, you design and develop AI-based functionalities for our SaaS platform.

This full-time, permanent position is available on a hybrid basis for candidates based in Helsinki or on a remote basis for candidates based in Europe.

What you need:

• Min. 5 years of experience working with AI-related projects and tasks
• Master’s degree from a university in a related field or equivalent
• Good experience in developing solutions with some of the mainstream tools and frameworks such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, Pytorch, Transformers or similar, and the ability to learn new ones as needed
• Ability to choose the correct approach/algorithm for the problem at hand
• Python programming experience is needed to make the solutions production-grade
• Good communication skills; your role is to bring solid experience in scaling and troubleshooting machine learning deployments to the table
• Fluent in written and spoken English as it is our working language
