SQL Data Analyst Intern

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical SQL Data Analyst Intern to join our Repair & Supply Systems team. As an intern, you will assist in managing, analyzing, and interpreting data to support departmental decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for a student looking to gain real-world experience working with large data sets in a corporate environment.

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop, write, and optimize SQL queries to extract, analyze, and report on data across multiple systems
• Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and insights to support operational improvements
• Collaborate with team members to create dashboards and visualizations using reporting tools
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather data requirements and provide analytical support
• Help maintain data integrity and resolve data discrepancies
• Support ad hoc reporting needs and provide analysis on key performance indicators (KPIs)

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL query writing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous coursework or internship experience in data analysis
• Familiarity with U-Haul systems and operations is a plus but not required
