The Opportunity
Adobe offers an outstanding opportunity to join Adobe's content and collaboration platform team as a Senior Data Scientist in Hamburg, Germany.
In this role, you will infuse data and insights into every product development phase, shaping platform capabilities that millions of users depend on daily within Adobe Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, Experience Cloud, Express, and Firefly.
You’ll work at the intersection of data science and product management, collaborating with multi-functional teams across India, Europe, and the US.
What You'll Do
• Embed with the platform team as a trusted partner to define and operationalize key measures, and drive data-driven decisions across the product development lifecycle.
• Deliver insights and recommendations to senior leadership, uncovering new ways to improve our platform and influencing strategy with clear, data-driven narratives.
• Build causal and predictive models and algorithms to improve customer retention, product virality, and platform efficiency.
• Develop and socialize internal data products, including dashboards, reports, and other self-service methods for answering product data questions.
• Own the development of innovative data science solutions to improve and scale our analytics infrastructure, while ensuring data integrity and trust within the organization.
What You Need to Succeed
• Proven track record of leading analytics and data science projects with measurable impact, supporting product development from concept to launch.
• Strong communication skills and a clear perspective with the ability to persuade technical and non-technical collaborators in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter and critical thinker who demonstrates adaptability in a dynamic and ambiguous environment.
• Creativity and passion to own sophisticated analytics projects end-to-end and deliver effective, timely solutions.
• 5+ years of experience in data science or related roles using analytics to solve product or business problems through coding (Python, SQL) and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, …)
• A background in statistical modeling or causal inference is a plus.
