Job Description

Position Summary: 

The Quality Control Team is an integral part of the MSC organization. The Representative will be working closely with various MSC internal departments to verify and validate customer data and subsequently enter them onto MSC platform accurately and effectively within the specified time frame.

Level of Responsibility

Increased handling tasks with greater independence; Responsible for quality and timeliness of personal work. Contributing to projects with guidance, supporting team/organizational objectives.

Qualifications

Key Tasks

• Enter company and customer information in systems  
• Perform customer validation, cleanup and maintain the main data dashboard 
• Maintain accurate data in company systems 
• Work closely with other departments to improve data entry process 
• Investigate and resolve data issues 
• Ensure quality reports with accurate data output 
• Perform data analysis for data sets and present results in a meaningful manner and in accordance with project deliverables 
• Communicate with MSC Geneva and SSC Doc center Greece for any Data quality issues 
• Additional tasks may be added or removed based on departmental/business needs.  

Skills / Experience:

• Reporting and analytical skills are required 
• Ability to use computers and related technology efficiently, with a range of skills; a basic understanding of system analysis and data analytics 
• Excellent problem-solving, goal-oriented and good judgement abilities 
• Resilient, proactive and professional attitude with a passion to succeed and learn 
• Ability to successfully develop and maintain positive relations with departments and be a team player 
• Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication skills, French is an asset 
• Intermediate Microsoft software Office skills (Excel, Power Bi, Word, PowerPoint). 
• College diploma required  
• 0-2 years of experience preferred (or relevant experience in another role) 
• Shipping experience is an asset
