You will be:

  • responsible for upgrading and maintaining the AWS infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code (CDK), 

  • ensuring the architecture is scalable, reliable, and compliant with enterprise standards, 

  • collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions,

  • working in a hybrid model with 1 day/month at the client's office in Rotterdam.

Requirements

Your profile:

  • ability to start immediately, 

  • university degree or advanced degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field, 

  • 3+ years in Cloud and Data engineering, 

  • proficiency in Python and experience with SQL for data transformations, 

  • hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway),

  • experience with infrastructure-as-code, preferably AWS CDK or Terraform, 

  • expertise with managing cloud infrastructure, optimizing cloud costs, and ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities, 

  • very good verbal and written communication skills in English. 

  • Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

Nice to have:

  • experience working in a collaborative R&D environment, 

  • familiarity with Data Mesh principles and machine learning workflows.
