studentjob: distributed AI training

BarcoLabs is currently performing several experiments to understand how distributed training influences AI performance. Within this project your task is to set up initial experiments for a federated learning framework. You are responsible for setting up the client-server architecture using Nvidia’s NVflare, run small training proof of concepts, evaluating the experiments and properly documenting the observations and lessons learned.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of Python 
• Knowledge and hands on experience with Machine learning/ Artificial Intelligence, preferably on an image processing application
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning Frameworks (TensorFlow or Keras). 
• Have an open and enthusiastic attitude.
• Are creative.
• Have an analytical and methodical thinking and way of working.
• Experience with common development tools such as git, docker, Jupyter notebooks.
