Social Work | Faculty AffairsThis position is an hourly part-time position to support research data management and analytics under the direction of Dr. Alan Davis, Associate Professor and Director of the Center for Psychedelic Drug Research and Education in the College of Social Work at The Ohio State University. The data management and analytics duties may include establishing and managing ongoing data collection and storage procedures across clinical trials and other research studies, and analysis of data, including conducting statistical analysis and producing figures, tables, and written descriptions of those analyses, as well as attending regularly scheduled meetings with staff; other data management and analytic duties as assigned. This position is an hourly part-time (up to 10 hours per week) position, with funding for an initial one-year term. The duration of this position is contingent upon performance and approval of ongoing internal and external funding.
Additional Information:
Salary range is $22.69-$ 29.83 hourly. The actual salary will fall within this range based on the candidate’s qualifications, internal equity, and the unit’s available budget.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Health Sciences, Computer Science or relevant field. 0 years of relevant experience required.
Desired Qualifications
Master’s degree related to data management and/or data analytics preferred. Five or more years of relevant experience preferred.
Desired Experience:
Microsoft Office proficiency. Data analysis/management skills using software platforms including R Studio statistical program.
Data management experience with grant funded research studies. Experience generating figures and tables for presentations, reports, and publications. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
