Location: Remote (Rochester, Minnesota-Based Team)

You’ll design, develop, and support robust applications that power clinical, data, and analytics systems—delivering real impact across healthcare operations.

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end services and web applications using JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML.
• Develop and support integrations using REST APIs and relational databases (SQL).
• Collaborate with team leads, business users, and IT teams to gather and refine technical requirements.
• Contribute to the development of microservices and cloud-native solutions aligned with uptime and scalability goals.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and DevOps pipelines for CI/CD and release management.
• Support deployment automation and configuration using tools like Azure Pipelines, ADO, Puppet, or Terraform.
• Document source code, processes, and implementation details to support long-term maintainability.
• Perform root cause analysis and advanced troubleshooting for complex system issues.

Skills & Experience You Should Possess

• 5+ years of software development using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and SQL.
• Strong experience building and supporting RESTful API integrations.
• Proficient in Agile Scrum practices and comfortable working in cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO), build pipelines, and modern development environments.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience with Java and Spring frameworks.
• Hands-on exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Azure.
• Background in healthcare IT systems or clinical applications.
• Experience with scalable cloud services, big data, or analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of deployment tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, or Ansible.

Education & Certifications You Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• Minimum 1 year of full-time experience (or 2 years of project experience) coding in a high-level language like Java, C++, Golang, or Python.
