What we’re looking for?

 

  • Market Research :  Examine market trends and dynamics in supply, demand, pricing and costs to generate valuable insights for clients.
  • Data Curation: Maintain internal Argus data sets to highest standard; assist in the development of in-house analytics tools, and enhance current models to support analysis. Data science and databasing experience and/or familiarity with R, Python, SQL etc is ideal.
  • Collaboration with Experts: Work closely with Subject Matter Experts across our global offices to support the creation and delivery of our portfolio on deadline.
  • Content Creation:  Communicate market intelligence clearly to internal stakeholders and clients through written reports and presentations with data visualizations, maintaining the company's standards of excellence.
  • Develop Subscription Products:  Maintain and enhance existing subscription products, utilizing your analytical skills to generate added value content for market participants.

  • Project Management Expertise:  Develop and refine your project management expertise, demonstrating exceptional leadership and coordination skills in overseeing complex projects.

Skills and Experience:

 

  • 1-3 years of experience in the Chemicals market research/consulting domain preferred. 
  • Proficiency in Market Research & Analytics, including Demand and Supply Assessment, as well as Pricing Analysis.
  • Strong Research Skills:  Demonstrate your capability to design methodologies and carry out time-bound projects with the support of subject matter experts, ensuring the delivery of top-tier research results.
  • Sector Knowledge:  Familiar with commodity supply demand/pricing or relevant sector experience, providing valuable market insights.
  • Analytical Expertise: Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with a readiness to learn new tools and technologies.
  • Strong Communication Skills:  Strong communication skills to clearly articulate key concepts and insights.
  • Teamwork: Experienced in collaborating with teams spread across various locations and utilizing organizational resources for collaborative success.

Hours:

This full-time role follows a hybrid model, with three days in the office and two days working remotely. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00, including a one-hour lunch break.
