Juniper’s AI-Native Networking Platform delivers the most comprehensive AIOps across the entire network to elevate operator and user experiences, making every connection count.Juniper is seeking a passionate and highly motivated individual to drive product strategy, roadmap planning, and product execution with an emphasis on Automation and Cloud Management offerings across the artificial intelligence (AI) driven enterprise stack spanning wireless, wired and wan. The successful candidate will have strong technical background working with Enterprise Networking and will define the future of Campus Networks team, bringing new solutions/products to market.

- Work on and execute creating a framework for automation offerings for enterprise networking and defining product and driving GTM strategy (20%);
- Own and drive the product Juniper Mist AI driven Automation framework for wired Assurance in Enterprise Networks:
- Understand, research and build Technical Product Requirement Documents(PRDs) for highly scalable Juniper’s BGP-EVPN based campus fabric architectures
- Devise product roadmap for Juniper Mist’s automated wired assurance client-to-cloud solution for enterprise network using artificial intelligence, machine learning algorithms to deliver advanced network automation.
- Continuously gather feedback from internal users, customers, discuss ideas/concepts with architects, follow up on the evolution of the solution software on Juniper switching platform with the engineering/test team
- Conduct technical roadshows about the ease of deployment of the product focused on user experience, write technical blogs, work on presentations highlighting the technical details of the solution, demonstrate benefits of Juniper Campus Fabric architectures, features and functionalities to customers, partners, techfield day presentations and panelist discussions.
- Educate the customers on how to use the product/solution by solving real time deployment use-cases and issues.
- Tracking product adoption and performance, analyze the defects/technical gaps in the product and brainstorm ideas to enhance and innovate the product and solution.
- Own and drive the product Juniper Mist AI driven Automation framework for wired Assurance in Enterprise Networks:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, sales, field marketing, and corporate communications (20%);
- Work with product stakeholders, work with UI/UX, Engineering and API development teams and collaborate cross-functionally to translate product roadmap items into concrete development initiatives going through a full software development lifecycle, making sure technical requirements are fully understood and implementation matches customer and end user expectations.
- Present product/solutions to customers, partners, sales teams, and other internal stakeholders (10%);
- Showcase compelling demonstrations of Juniper Networks EVPN VXLAN Fabric solution(built on standards based architecture) deployed on Mist AI driven Cloud based dashboard using Juniper EX, QFX Switching portfolio for Campus Network design and architecture. Demonstrate how Juniper Mist’s AI-powered troubleshooting can radically alter experiences with Marvis Virtual Network Assistant (VNA) and Marvis Actions.
- Present technical details of the solutions/product at techfield day, customer demonstrations, Juniper conferences etc.
- Work on UX/UI definitions with internal development teams (10%);
- Define UX/UI workflows to the internal development team to create enhanced user experience using configuration templates, switch profiles for simplified and accelerated configuration.
- Work on API definitions with internal development teams (10%);
- Understand and provide API design, definitions and work with development teams to enhance overall network experience, simplified network management in creating value added products and designs.
- Perform lab setups for the reproduction of issues and result verification (10%);
- Design and test network topologies, use cases to validate the working of BGP EVPN-VXLAN Campus Fabric, develop scripts using python to automate the use case and result validations.
- Conduct sales enablement (5%);
- Work with technical sales to build out use cases across enterprise-wide demo environments, enable technical pre-sales teams with formal technical trainings and regular product updates being the go-to technical resource.
- Conduct executive briefings for customers (5%);
- Introduce new products/solutions/features in wired Assurance portfolio for Enterprise Networks by creating technical documentation/presentations/product and solution demonstrations.
- Deploy customer networks with cutovers (5%);
- Understand customer network and use case, deploy the solution on real time customer network with minimum downtime, debug and troubleshoot any issues during deployment.
- Understand and work on JunOS (Juniper’s Operating System) development (5%).
- Define and debug system scale numbers and scenarios, memory utilization, upgrade/downgrade of switches and file system issues with the understanding of Juniper EX/QFX Switching Operating system(JunOS)
Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong programming, scripting skills – Python, JSON, REST, NETCONF, TCL, UX/UI design, API Definition and Development, Software Development Lifecycle, Software Testing and simulations, PHP, Javascript, CSS, HTML, web security.
- Strong technical expertise with computer networks and network security – TCP/IP Network protocol suite, Software Defined Networks(SDN), Campus Access Switching, Data Center Networking Technologies and protocols– BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, Layer 2, Layer3, Multicast, Spanning-tree, SSL, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, IPv4 and IPv6 FHS, Port-Security, Network Security – Authentication, Authorization and policy.
- Strong technical and market familiarity with Campus Access Switching technologies, the competitive landscape and the market direction, deep technical understanding of broad range of Campus Fabric technologies(EVPN/VXLAN, LISP/VXLAN) use cases.
- Understanding of Operating Systems(Juniper Operating System) – docker, Kubernetes, virtualization, Cloud Networking(SaaS, NaaS), web security – AI/ML and network security(Access Control, Policies, Access Lists).
- Deep hands-on experience in testing the topologies in the lab, defining solutions, involved in architectural discussions, Proof of Concepts, technical trainings.
- Debugging Tools – Wireshark packet analyzer, netflow, TCP Dump, IE HTTP Header, HTTP Watch, pycharm, Traffic Generators – Ixia, Spirent.
- Excellent knowledge of Campus Network designs and architectures.
- Experience in field-facing technical roles focused on software development, automation, and cloud technologies is a strong plus.
