Learn about Rheem's innovative and efficient heating, cooling, and water heating solutions for homes and businesses.The Product Data Specialist will develop bills of material for manufacturing under the direction of engineering. This will include creating and revising parts, documents and bills of material within our ERP system. Including research of current bills of material, creating supporting documents such as PDFs, Excel spreadsheets. Formatting data tables provided by our lab technicians and engineers, providing data tables used in literature. Supporting Engineering, Drafting, Manufacturing, and special projects.
This position will serve our Nordyne Division, located in O’Fallon, Missouri.
- Create and maintain purchased parts, manufactured parts, bill of materials, and documents within our SAP and Oracle applications, maintaining data accuracy across all product records.
- Assist in data clean-up projects, audits and standardization efforts.
- Participate in engineering product meetings for the purpose of identifying key dates and schedules wherein bills of material will be needed to support manufacturing.
- Support timely release of parts for production and procurement.
- Work with Engineers and other knowledgeable project support personnel to identify materials.
- Create data tables for literature and engineering.
- Be a key contributor to managing the print-on-demand labels information.
- Be a key contributor to all projects by organizing bills of material and part information to implement project changes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED
- The ability to multitask, remain organized, and work independently once program goals and strategies have been set.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Suite, Excel being used as a primary application.
- Demonstrates ability to work well with team environment.
- Experience with SAP or Oracle is an advantage.
