Job overview:

As our NOC Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the stability and reliability of our infrastructure and systems during live games and tournaments. You will oversee incident response, problem management, and service reliability while driving operational excellence across the Junglee Games portfolio. This role combines technical expertise, leadership, and a proactive mindset to minimize downtime, optimize workflows, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.

  • Gurgaon / Bangalore

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and provide visionary leadership to a team of LiveOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.

  • Oversee day-to-day LiveOps operations, ensuring efficient resource allocation and workload management, leveraging data-driven insights.

  • Utilize deep technical expertise in AWS, GCP, Azure, and Python to guide troubleshooting and problem resolution, for proactive network monitoring and predictive maintenance.

  • Design and implement advanced observability tools & self healing systems, to optimize systems performance, enhance fault detection capabilities & automated remediations.

  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives towards automation & reduction in manual toil.

  • Implement and refine best practices for incident detection, response, and resolution.

  • Drive RCAs to closure, implement processes and tools for pattern matching and avoid future impact to business.

  • Prepare and present regular leadership reports and updates on LiveOps performance metrics, and technological advancements.

  • Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements, proposing innovative ideas for LiveOps improvement.

Qualifications & skills required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 6 years in a managerial capacity within a LiveOps environment with focus on team & tools enablement.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Extensive experience in implementing, managing and improving observability tools for diagnosis, remediation and avoidance of business impacting incidents.
  • Strong experience in automation and self-serve methodology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
