Manager, Global Business Intelligence

Job Summary:
The Manager, Global Business Intelligence is a hands-on analytics expert who applies advanced technical skills to drive operational excellence across global supply chain, production, and sales operations. Combining deep expertise in PowerBI, Python, DAX, and SQL with a strong background in SIOP and operational planning, this role transforms complex datasets into actionable insights that improve business performance. This leader serves as the technical backbone for global business intelligence efforts, while understanding the operational context behind the numbers. This role will lead a team of analysts that are geographically distributed across the U.S. and Asia and report to the Director of Centralized Planning and Analytics within Ichor's Global Supply Chain Organization. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a global team of analysts, providing technical direction, project prioritization, and coaching to elevate analytics capabilities across the organization.
• Build, manage, and optimize complex PowerBI dashboards and reporting systems, delivering dynamic, actionable insights across global operations.
• Develop Python-based tools for data processing, predictive analytics, automation, and advanced modeling in support of business initiatives.
• Integrate AI and machine learning techniques into analytics workflows to automate insights generation, enhance predictive accuracy, and drive continuous improvement across key business operations.
• Personally engage with complex datasets, identifying key business drivers across supply chain, production, inventory, and sales functions.
• Lead business intelligence initiatives, demonstrating advanced technical proficiency in PowerBI (DAX), Python, SQL, and related data technologies.
• Apply analytics within an operational context — integrating insights into SIOP, production planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management processes.
• Drive predictive analytics projects to enhance demand planning, operational risk mitigation, and supply chain agility.
• Communicate complex technical findings clearly and effectively to business stakeholders, enabling faster, more informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience combining hands-on analytics work with operational support roles (SIOP, supply chain, production, or related areas).
• Expert proficiency in:
  • PowerBI (including advanced DAX development)
  • Python (for data automation, modeling, and predictive analytics)
  • SQL (for complex data querying and optimization)
• Strong understanding of supply chain, production planning, inventory management, and demand forecasting processes in a global environment. 
• Proven ability to translate business problems into technical solutions and actionable analytics.
• Exceptional data storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex analysis for broad audiences.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet business objectives. This position has hybrid flexibility and the preferred work location is in our Austin, TX site. Candidates based in Portland, OR may also be considered.
