Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Intern to join our Enterprise IT Architecture team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the interworking of an enterprise IT organization. The intern will shadow the Enterprise IT Architect in their meetings with various IT verticals, providing valuable insights into the architecture and operations of our IT infrastructure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Shadow the Enterprise IT Architect in meetings with different IT verticals to understand the interworking of the enterprise IT organization.
• Assist in documenting and analyzing IT architecture and processes.
• Provide software development expertise to IT automation and AI development tasks across different groups within IT.
• Collaborate with IT teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Support the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions to enhance IT operations.
• Participate in the design, coding, testing, and deployment of software applications.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as needed.
• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and training materials.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong interest in enterprise IT architecture and software development.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education and/or Experience:  High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education including vocational training.  Individual must be currently enrolled in a 2 to 4 year college or university, majoring in a technical field directly related to the Intern opportunity available.
