Hybrid role with one day a week in office.
The Supply Chain Analyst is an integral member of the Supply Chain Analytics Team. They are responsible for supporting operational KPIs, generating reports, interpreting data, and identifying trends within large datasets across multiple systems. The primary function of the Supply Chain Analyst involves performing day-to-day reporting to identify trends and ensure data accuracy and process improvement. Tasks will be based on requests from internal customers, strategic partners, and may require direct coordination with IT. This role emphasizes automation and system modernization to guarantee data precision and alignment with Corewell Health's strategic solutions providers as well as third-party data enrichment providers.
Essential Functions
Responsible for day-to-day reporting needs for greater healthcare supply chain organization, including procurement, sourcing, operations, inventory management, master data, and value analysis.
Analytical and mathematical skills for interpreting data and identifying trends on large data sets across multiple systems and reporting tools including Workday, Epic, Warehouse Management Systems, Tableau, and related Enterprise Resource Management software.
Offer expertise and support in supply chain and procurement-to-pay processes to identify and aid in the optimization and performance improvement efforts related to system wide supply chain operations.
Provide analytical reports, KPI’s or dashboards.
Maintenance of Master Data which includes Item, Supplier and Location Master.
Analyze and resolve requests and ensure timely follow-through and completion in accordance with business rules and Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).
Support for cleanup of data.
Resolve data quality exceptions, which are identified through monthly data quality reporting.
Provide excellent customer service on all client requests and inquiries by owning the issue/question until resolution and following through with customers.
Ensure master files comply with the six major tenets of data quality: completeness, conformity, consistency, accuracy, redundancy, and integrity.
Demonstrate ability of general understanding of healthcare’s products & suppliers.
Manage supplier relationships and relationships with strategic partners to ensure efficient operations and minimize end user disruptions.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Industrial Technology or Information Technology or high school diploma with the equivalent work experience.
Exposure to relational databases (preferable Microsoft Access).
Preferred
SQL and technical proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, Peoplesoft, Workday Report Writer, Microsoft Excel VBA, Python, R, Statistics, Tableau)
Analytical and mathematical skills for interpreting data and identifying trends.
1 to 3 years healthcare experience
Knowledge of supply chain processes and experience with data management of item, supplier or location files.
Prior experience importing/exporting data, data transformation, EDI or interfaces.
Excellent attention to detail to spot inconsistencies and ensure accuracy
