Roche Diagnostics is seeking a Business Analytics & Insights Manager to drive the development of internal analytical and digital tools. You will work within the Portfolio Management Team and the Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) function, supporting Roche's diverse diagnostic solutions at the project, product and portfolio level.
The Opportunity:
Support the delivery of the vision and roadmap for our internal analytical and digital tools and collaborate closely with Analytics & Insights team members, IT, and business stakeholders to align tool & dashboard developments with business goals
Ability to manage and prioritize the product backlog, focusing on delivering maximum business value
Oversee and/or directly drive the development, implementation, launch of new tools and features and training of users and actively develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and data pipelines, requiring hands-on technical expertise in addition to overseeing their implementation by other teams
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement
Foster a data-driven culture by promoting the use of analytics to increase transparency and inform decision-making
Ensure tools align with FAIR data principles, promote analytics maturity, and integrate new technologies, ensure best practice for documentation and data validation as well as promote the use of advanced data science and AI technologies to advance team analytical capabilities
Identify opportunities for automation and digitization as well as process optimization to increase quality and efficiency, guiding improvement initiatives.
Who You Are:
BS degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems), MS preferred
5+ years of experience in a scientific, quantitative, or computer science field. Experience as a Product Owner or similar role, driving the development of digital products is a plus
Good knowledge of data warehousing, particularly Snowflake. Expertise in Tableau and familiarity with other tools such as Alteryx and Thoughtspot or languages like Python or SQL, a plus
Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and principles
Familiarity with Data Mesh architecture and Data Products
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills as well as experience working with cross-functional teams (developers, designers, data scientists)
Interest in healthcare and diagnostics industries, as well as knowledge of portfolio and project management, a plus
Fluent in English (written and verbal), German is a plus
