We are hiring a Senior Data Scientist to join our Data Science team!
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be…

This role follows a hybrid schedule. We require team members to be in the office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with the option to work remotely on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our office is located in downtown Vancouver, and we believe this balance fosters strong collaboration while supporting flexibility.

About the role ✨

Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize and Manage Requests: Handle and prioritize incoming data requests from both internal teams and external customers, ensuring timely and effective responses to their needs.

  • Insight Communication: Present findings and actionable recommendations clearly to a range of audiences, including non-technical stakeholders and customers, ensuring understanding and impact.
  • Consulting and Collaboration: Act as a data consultant for key customers, advising on best practices, while working closely with internal teams (e.g., Product, Sales) to address their data needs and support their initiatives.
  • Process Improvement and Alignment: Gather feedback to enhance data processes, participate in planning and alignment meetings across teams, and collaborate with Data Engineering to improve infrastructure, models, and pipelines.
  • Governance and Advocacy: Ensure data integrity, privacy compliance, and maintain clear documentation, while championing data-driven decision-making and fostering a data-centric culture across the organization.

Key Results:
  • Improved Customer Satisfaction: Measured through qualitative feedback (pulse updates gathered by Partner Success Managers) and potentially quantitative measures like NPS scores related to data support.
  • Effective Internal Support: Measured through qualitative feedback (e.g., retrospectives with internal teams) and quantitative metrics like internal NPS scores for data support, and tracking usage/adoption of data tools (e.g., Daily Active Users on Metabase dashboards).
  • Timely & Accurate Data Delivery: Successfully managing and fulfilling the backlog of internal and external data requests according to agreed-upon priorities and timelines.
  • Actionable Insights: Delivering analyses and insights that demonstrably inform customer operations or internal decision-making.

About You ✨
