Data Analyst

Do you love uncovering insights through data and turning complex information into clear business solutions? We're looking for a Data Analyst to join our team and help drive strategic decisions across the organization.

In this role, you'll support the Finance Department, Senior Management, and other stakeholders by building analytical solutions, managing large datasets, and delivering high-impact reports and insights. You'll work with tools like SQL databases, Power BI, Excel, and more to help optimize performance and influence decisions at all levels of the credit union.

Data Analyst

What You'll Do:

  • Build data models and reports using SQL databases, Power BI, Excel, and other tools
  • Analyze historical and current data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Manage, govern, and interpret large datasets from various sources
  • Serve as system administrator for Power BI and SQL Server Management Studio
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver insights and data-driven solutions
  • Recommend improvements to data models, reporting processes, and workflows
  • Deliver high-quality, detail-oriented analysis to support strategic initiatives
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and participate in special projects

What We're Looking For:

  • 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a business or financial setting
  • Bachelor's degree in analytics, finance, statistics, information systems, or related field
  • Advanced skills in SQL, Power BI, and Excel
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and reporting best practices
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Continuous learning mindset-certifications and personal data portfolios a plus (e.g., Power BI certification, Google Analytics, GitHub portfolio)
