Summary of the Job:
As a Sr. Analyst, Data Analysis on the Banking Data Enablement Team at FNBO, you will serve as a key strategic resource bridging data analytics, operational excellence, and risk management. This multifaceted role combines technical expertise with business acumen to transform complex data into actionable insights that drive decision-making and automation initiatives across the organization.
You will be responsible for leading sophisticated data analysis and automation projects that primarily support Operations, while also serving other business units. The position requires you to serve as both a technical expert and business partner, collaborating closely with stakeholders at all levels to identify automation opportunities, solve complex problems, and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
Your analytical work will directly impact strategic initiatives, from process automation and system implementations to risk monitoring and business intelligence. You will lead projects that require deep understanding of banking operations, data structures, and risk management principles. This includes developing and maintaining automated reporting systems, implementing end-to-end automation solutions, and creating visualization tools that provide clear insights to decision-makers.
As a senior team member, you will also play a crucial role in championing automation excellence, mentoring junior members, establishing best practices, and driving the adoption of innovative technologies and methodologies. You will be expected to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, helping to position FNBO at the forefront of data-driven banking operations.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical skills with business insight, leadership ability, and a passion for automation and continuous improvement.
About This Role:
- Lead data analysis initiatives using SQL, Python, PowerBI, and other tools to extract, manipulate, and summarize large datasets
- Implement automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce risk
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and databases that drive business decisions and monitor risk indicators
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and deliver actionable insights
- Mentor team members and provide technical training support
The Ideal Candidate for This Role:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business, or related quantitative discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in data analysis and process automation using SQL, Python, or similar tools
- Proven experience in transforming manual processes into efficient, automated workflows
- Strong understanding of banking processes, systems, and procedures
- Demonstrated project management and business analysis skills
Technical Skills
- Advanced SQL programming and database management
- Advanced knowledge in Python
- Experience in data visualization tools (PowerBI)
- Experience with process automation tools
- Experience with Git/GitHub
- Strong Excel and technical writing capabilities
- Ability to work with multiple data sources and complex datasets

Compensation:
Compensation range (base pay): $80,061.00-$132,099.00
This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.
Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
