POSITION SUMMARY: The Sr. Manager, HR Reporting and Analytics is responsible for activities associated with the implementation, integration, optimization and maintenance of Human Resource reporting and analytics systems. This role focuses on building and refining HR analytic capabilities. These capabilities include processes and metrics to ensure that timely, accurate, and insightful information is available to business leaders and HR across the company. The Sr. Manager, HR Reporting and Analytics also ensures HR functions and employee information is managed in accordance with business and HR strategy and the company policies, practices and procedures.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages day-to-day activities of the HR Reporting and Analytics team including both project and support requests in multiple platforms including Workday, PowerBI, and SSRS.
Oversees team operations for data management, reporting and governance, including testing, and ongoing validation to maintain accuracy and integrity of systems and reports.
Participates in determination of stakeholder needs and ensures business value is realized. Determines data analysis goals given business objectives.
Partners with business customers as a thought leader to identify research and/or business opportunities that the analytics team can support.
Prepares complex data for analysis, e.g. cleansing, conditioning, transforming, handling missing fields, feature engineering, and handling multivariate data.
Evaluates and validates correctness of models and analysis. Assesses and confirms performance of models and analysis. Validates that models and analyses meet business objectives.
Communicates analytical results to clients in a consultative manner, and always at a level that is consistent with the target audience
Management responsibilities include talent acquisition, coaching, performance management, and development.
Ensures the data integrity and security of the HR reporting, analytics, and business intelligence systems.
Drives best practices, change management, and analytical understanding across HR.
Develops a multi-year technology strategy and systems roadmap to support business owners on providing insights and actionable data to support decision making.
Consults with internal customers and senior leadership to understand information needs and build reporting solutions of a complex nature to provide insights for decision making and measure performance.
Manages projects related to system patches, enhancements, upgrades, implementations or conversions.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 7 years of in-depth hands-on analytical, reporting experience within an HRIS/ERP system (required).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a Fortune 500 environment.
Technical understanding of one or more commercial HR systems products and an understanding of database construction.
5 Years of experience and demonstrated knowledge of applying statistics and analytical techniques to real word business problems.
Demonstrated project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple high-priority assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards
Experience with system development life cycle.
Knowledge of Workday, R or Python, Crystal reporting, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS.
High aptitude in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint.

SUSTAINABILITY INNOVATION
Republic’s recent innovations to advance circularity and decarbonization demonstrate our unique ability to leverage sustainability as a platform for growth.
The Republic Services Polymer Center is the nation’s first integrated plastics recycling facility. This innovative site processes rigid plastics from our recycling centers, producing recycled materials that promote true bottle-to-bottle circularity. We also formed Blue Polymers, a joint venture with Ravago, to develop facilities that will further process plastic material from our Polymer Centers to help meet the growing demand for sustainable packaging. We are building a network of Polymer Centers and Blue Polymer facilities across North America.
We continue to advance decarbonization at our landfills. As demand for renewable energy continues to grow, we have 70 landfill gas-to-energy projects in operation and plan to expand our portfolio to 115 projects by 2028.
