This role is an onsite role based at our corporate headquarters in Irvine, California.

How you’ll make an impact:

This Senior Analyst, Data Analytics role in our Surgical business unit will focus on leveraging internal and external market data to provide strategic insights and actionable recommendations that drive business growth and innovation.

• Analyze third-party data to derive insights regarding market trends including procedural volumes, market share changes etc.  Communicate findings to the Surgical business unit through clear and concise monthly/ad hoc reports and presentations.
• Partner with team to develop new analyses; collaborate with and influence stakeholders/leadership through fact-based analyses, drive change, and develop solutions.
• Develop high-quality Tableau and Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support commercial and sales operations.
• Integrate and analyze data from various marketing platforms such as Marketo, SFDC, GA, Demandbase, LinkedIn Ads, and more to create comprehensive reports and insights.
• Interpret results of quantitative models, identify trends and issues, and develop alternatives to support business objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, cleanse, organize, and assess value of disparate data sources. Identify data sources available and collect primary data where necessary.
• Develop market models and perform validation and testing to ensure adequacy and determine need for reformulation.
• Present and communicate complex analytical findings to cross-functional partners and leadership
• Other incidental duties

What you’ll need (required):

• Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of related experience

What else we look for (preferred):

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics or a related field
• Experience in healthcare, Lifesciences, medical devices, biopharma, or strategic consulting

• Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, business intelligence and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Python, Power BI)
• Strong data visualization and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
• Strict attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including negotiating and relationship management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Full knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to marketing analytics and/or business intelligence
• Full understanding of quantitative methodologies, techniques and tools to develop best in class analytic solutions
• Ability to work closely with IT teams to ensure data integrity and seamless integration of data sources
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment including good project management skills
• Ability to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams, key contact representing the organization on contracts or projects, and vendors/suppliers
• Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California, the base pay range for this position is $90,000 to $127,000 (highly experienced).
