Job Type: Full-time.

Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 2 pm11 pm-11pm EST & Saturday 10 am7 pm-7pm EST

Pay rate: USD 9/hr

The Lisinski Law Firm is seeking full-time creative writers to craft compelling declarations that tell the stories of our immigrant clients seeking a change in their status.

We are a high-volume immigration law firm dedicated to serving undocumented immigrants in the U.S. who are striving to legalize their status based on abuse or hardship they have endured in this country. The success of our cases often hinges on how effectively we can convey the experiences of our clients. Our writing team transforms notes from client interviews into powerful narratives that evoke the emotional journey of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Write compelling declarations based on client interviews.
  • Use ChatGPT to craft declarations while maintaining the human touch.
  • Collaborate with legal staff to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of narratives.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.

Qualifications:

  • Professional-level writing skills.
  • Native-level proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Highly motivated with a strong determination to help the underdog.
  • Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace.
  • Highly accountable proactive with communication.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Technical Requirements:

  • Reliable computer with at least:
    • 16GB RAM
    • 256GB SSD
    • Core i5 processor (2.0GHz or higher)
    • Webcam
    • Minimum 25mbps network speed
    • An extra monitor for dual display is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using ChatGPT or similar AI tools for drafting and editing documents.
