Job Description
Data Integration Consultants for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Chicago, IL). Identify and define data integration processes and quality improvements as a subject matter expert on public record data used to support insurance underwriting. Responsible for the analysis of raw data, development of transformation logic, and testing on newly acquired data sources. Collaborate with other functional groups with varying levels of technical expertise on large scale projects. Strive to maintain clean, consistent, and complete data. Recognize relational impacts and mitigate integrity issues. Contribute to documentation of data definitions, business rules, data standardization best practices, and data quality requirements. Resolve data quality or loading issues for large, complex datasets that directly impact customer transactions. Understanding of issue severity prioritization and ability to resolve issues efficiently with minimal impact to customers. Technical environment: data transformation; data mining; data reconciliation/data reporting; data maintenance; data visualization; data engineering; SQL queries (aggregates, conditional statements, sub queries); data analysis using complex SQL queries; analysis of large data sets (importation/exportation, manipulation, transposition); writing test plans; ETL; resolution of data quality/loading issues for large, complex datasets; Power BI; documentation of data definitions, business rules, data standardization best practices, and data quality requirements; Tableau (to graphically represent datasets); import/export, manipulate and transpose large datasets; Linux/Unix; AbInitio; Dremio; Informatica ETL; Filezilla; AWS.
Job Requirements
*Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field plus 2 years of experience in Data Analytics required. Required Skills: data transformation; data mining; data reconciliation/data reporting; data maintenance; data visualization; data engineering; SQL queries (aggregates, conditional statements, sub queries); data analysis using complex SQL queries; analysis of large data sets (importation/exportation, manipulation, transposition); writing test plans; ETL; resolution of data quality/loading issues for large, complex datasets; Power BI; documentation of data definitions, business rules, data standardization best practices, and data quality requirements; Tableau (to graphically represent datasets); import/export, manipulate and transpose large datasets; Linux/Unix; AbInitio; Dremio; Informatica ETL; Filezilla; AWS. 100% telecommuting permitted. (*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field plus 5 years of progressive experience in Data Analytics also acceptable).

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $138,715/yr. - $138,715/yr. annually. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may also be eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
