What you will do:

Due to the continued growth of our practices, we are now recruiting a Data Quality Engineer for our team to focus on ensuring the quality and accuracy of our data, with a strong emphasis on data quality (DQ) and data governance practices. We embrace the flexibility of our employees, working in a hybrid set-up, providing a home-office budget as well.

Your day-to-day:

  • Develop data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Monitor and maintain data quality across various data sources and systems.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and other stakeholders to identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Document data quality procedures and standards.
  • Perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Support data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with data policies.
  • Perform data profiling to define data elements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems Engineering or any other relevant field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the field.
  • Knowledge of relational database platforms and T-SQL
  • Experience in using one or more of the followings: Azure Data Factory, Talend, Databricks.
  • Understanding of data quality principles and best practices.
  • Experience in working with large data sets.

It would be a plus if you also possess:

  • Azure Data Engineer certificate (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of Insurance Industry.
  • Acquaintance with Python/PySpark.
  • Experience with data quality and data governance tools (Collibra or equivalent) and methodologies.
